Perspective on care
As a therapist, Justin has developed a particular interest in the issues of stress and anxiety and insomnia. He uses the paths of mindfulness that he cultivates daily to help the patients he meets to enter into a relationship with their difficulties in order to overcome them. There is one certainty in Justin: balancing emotions and the resulting “flows” of energies promotes overall personal well-being. Even more, his years of studies in social sciences lead him to understand that these transformations which take place in the private sphere necessarily have an echo in the immediate environment of the individual and even in the wider environment. Individual care then carries a perspective of systemic resolution.

Journey
Research
Justin cultivates a passion for the development of the human being. This interest was first expressed through university studies in sociology and environmental design, guided by his desire to understand how both the environment and social habits influence the well-being of individuals. The research work, deployed over 15 years of post-secondary studies, brought him into contact with a variety of thoughts leading him to refine his understanding of the human being and to develop a strong aptitude for intellectual work and research. His empathy and curiosity for personal growth could only be increased tenfold by these learnings.
Well-being practices
It was then the practices of meditation and yoga that allowed Justin to significantly embody the perspectives he had learned so far. Holder of multiple training courses in teaching these disciplines with renowned professors, Justin dedicates himself to teaching the practice from 2014. Since then, he has shared his passion with hundreds of students in several studios in Montreal, as well as than in business, including Cirque du Soleil. The practice of Vipassana meditation, in which he has devoted himself for more than 10 years, is part of his teaching. He has so far spent over 110 days in silent retreats.
Acupuncture
These experiences in the realm of consciousness naturally led Justin to study alternative medicine. Heir to thousands of years of evolution, acupuncture appeared to him as a synthesis of his past experiences. Not only does it take care of the health of the individual, but in addition, it is interested in the global perspectives which can affect its physical and psychic activities. In traditional Chinese medicine , humans are seen as a dynamic microcosm in constant interaction with the forces that surround them.
Now a graduate of the Collège de Rosemont and a member of the Ordre des acupuncteurs du Québec (OAQ) , the role of acupuncturist gives Justin the opportunity to support individuals in maintaining optimal health , or to help them regain their health. health.
He also did an internship focused on pain management using the Dr Tan method with Frédéric Bourges and was introduced to the treatment of musculoskeletal pain by Stéphane Pépin, whose work has helped thousands of top athletes over the years. years. Justin integrates his knowledge of oriental medicine and his humanistic sensitivity into his acupuncture practice in order to offer his patients high quality treatments.
