Justin Lapointe
Acupuncturist
Member of the Order of Acupuncturists of Quebec
Welcome! I am Justin Lapointe, a dedicated acupuncturist and member of the Ordre des Acupuncteurs du Québec. I am passionate about combining ancient acupuncture techniques with modern and holistic health approaches. In my clinic in the heart of Montreal, I am committed to providing personalized and deeply therapeutic care, addressing the entirety of your being: body, mind, and emotions.
My Journey
My interest in human development began long before my immersion in the world of acupuncture. With an academic background in sociology and environmental design, I explored how our well-being is interconnected with our environment and social interactions. During my fifteen years of post-secondary studies, I gained an in-depth understanding of human nature, enriching my acupuncture practice.
My Therapeutic Approach
Each session with me is an adventure where I seek to catalyze deep healing. Whether you are an athlete looking to improve your recovery or someone seeking inner balance, I offer you an acupuncture experience where your health is the priority. With my specialized training in pain management and sleep disorders, I aim to provide treatments that resonate with your individual needs.
Clinical Experience
2011-2014
I am specially trained in sports and cosmetic acupuncture, pain relief, and gynecology. My approach is enhanced by postgraduate training with renowned experts such as Sonia Tan and Whitfield Reaves. My clinical experience also extends to fascia and sports medicine acupuncture.
2007-2010
Commitment to Well-Being
Yoga and meditation have been pillars of my life since 2014, enriching my ability to integrate mental and physical well-being into my treatments. Well-being practices
It was then the practices of meditation and yoga that allowed Justin to significantly embody the perspectives he had learned so far. Holder of multiple training courses in teaching these disciplines with renowned professors, Justin dedicates himself to teaching the practice from 2014. Since then, he has shared his passion with hundreds of students in several studios in Montreal, as well as than in business, including Cirque du Soleil. The practice of Vipassana meditation, in which he has devoted himself for more than 10 years, is part of his teaching. He has so far spent over 110 days in silent retreats.
Acupuncture
These experiences in the realm of consciousness naturally led Justin to study alternative medicine. Heir to thousands of years of evolution, acupuncture appeared to him as a synthesis of his past experiences. Not only does it take care of the health of the individual, but in addition, it is interested in the global perspectives which can affect its physical and psychic activities. In traditional Chinese medicine , humans are seen as a dynamic microcosm in constant interaction with the forces that surround them.
Now a graduate of the Collège de Rosemont and a member of the Ordre des acupuncteurs du Québec (OAQ) , the role of acupuncturist gives Justin the opportunity to support individuals in maintaining optimal health , or to help them regain their health. health.
He also did an internship focused on pain management using the Dr Tan method with Frédéric Bourges and was introduced to the treatment of musculoskeletal pain by Stéphane Pépin, whose work has helped thousands of top athletes over the years. years. Justin integrates his knowledge of oriental medicine and his humanistic sensitivity into his acupuncture practice in order to offer his patients high quality treatments.
