My Mission
Helping each individual reach their full potential in physical health and performance through personalized, evidence-based physiotherapy. I am dedicated to restoring function, relieving pain, and enabling my patients to move with precision, power, and resilience. Whether recovering from an injury, refining movement, or meeting the physical demands of performance, I provide individualized, results-oriented care. My approach is rooted in collaboration, education, and compassion, helping each person move freely, perform with confidence, and thrive—on stage and in life.
My Journey
Graduated in physiotherapy from McGill University, I am passionate about orthopedic sports physiotherapy. In orthopedics, my main areas of interest include motor control, kinetic dysfunctions, and manual treatment of injuries. I also have clinical experience in managing vertigo, dizziness, and vestibular system dysfunctions.
A Unique and Multidisciplinary Approach
I am particularly interested in how the human body adapts and readapts to develop new skills and achieve high-level performance. My personal journey in sports, fitness, and music has led me to explore the relationship between the body and mind in performance settings. This curiosity naturally led me to the study and practice of physiotherapy.
Expertise Dedicated to Performing Artists
Before becoming a physiotherapist, I pursued a musical career as a classical singer. Holding a master's degree in classical singing from the University of Toronto, I was an artist-in-residence at Opéra de Montréal and performed in concerts across North America and Europe. This experience, which demands discipline, rigor, and adaptability, enriches my clinical practice and allows me to provide specialized support to performing artists in alignment with the demands of their craft.
Teaching and Guidance
As a guitar and piano teacher, I learned to adapt my approach to different contexts, goals, and learning styles. These teaching skills are reflected in my work as a physiotherapist, where I guide my patients through the exercises and lifestyle adjustments needed for their rehabilitation.
An active lifestyle
Physical fitness has always been a priority for me. I have been part of soccer and lacrosse teams and have competed in track and field events. Today, I practice long-distance running, calisthenics, and enjoy outdoor activities. Originally from Nova Scotia, I have a soft spot for hiking, camping, fishing, and water sports.
